This heavy duty fat rod and steel plug are a direct replacement to the OEM components.
Made of heavy duty corrosion resistant 17-4 Stainless Steel, polished to a mirror finish then DLC coated. Offering 1.4oz total weight.
Designed to prevent recoil spring kinking, improving overall cycling and performance of the firearm
Adds double the weight compared to the OEM guide rod and plug to the muzzle end of the firearm for improved recoil mitigation.
Guide rod is designed to be semi captured making install and removal of slide extremely simple and easy to do without any additional help or fiddling.
Can be used with OEM or FDEZ recoil springs.
